The Madison Capitols Girls Hockey Program is dedicated to the development of our athletes. We promote the improvement of individual skills and abilities, and strive to enhance the physical, mental, and tactical capabilities of each player. In addition to individual growth, we focus on team achievement through emphasis on goal-setting, responsibility,
support, and competitive spirit. We foster an environment of good sportsmanship. Our program is structured to help our players progress from the U14 level through U19, preparing our girls for competition at the collegiate level.
We seek to provide the highest level of coaching . We recruit coaches with broad experience as players and coaches from top college and high school programs. Our coaching staff regularly includes individuals with D1 and D3 experience, NCAA experience, national championships, and Olympic experience.
50-60 games; 2+ practices/week; 2-3 League Showcases; 2-4 Tournaments; 1 practice-only weekend per month; 1-2 off-ice training sessions per week; 3-6 weekends off during season
Top National teams, typically including: Shattuck, Little Caesars, Mission, Culver, TI, Belle Tire, Pittsburgh, Thoroughbreds, Honeybaked, Victory Honda, Colorado, Ohio, New Jersey, and others.
